| OUR ACHIEVEMENTS |
- Community mobilization
and awareness on malarial control
and prevention
- Community
mobilization and awareness on
reproductive health and HIV/AIDS
prevention
- Community
awareness on diseases resulting
from lack of immunization and
mobilization of the women and
encouraging them to have their
children immunized at the right
time
- Promotion
of income generating act ivies.
We have started income generating
projects in piglet-raising,
exotic goats and heifer rearing
- Mobilized
women groups and equipped them
with the tools to maintain self-sustaining
projects. Some of these women
group projects include the Rwoho
Mother's Union Group in Rukoni
which runs an exotic animals
farm and Ntungamo Widows group
which runs a fruit drying plant.
There are other many women's
groups and a full list of these
groups is available on request

- We
have also provided scholastic
materials to the orphans and
other disadvantaged individuals.
ARISE maintains a level of supervision
for this group of people to
ensure that they have the resources
to stay in school
- Establishment
of a village bank
- Provision
of Insecticide Treated Nets
(ITNs) to children and pregnant
women

STATEMENT |
| For
all the things we have achieved,
we owe a lot to people who have
sponsored and donated. The scholastic
materials and/or funds donated by
these individuals has really come
a long way and helped us see some
light towards achieving our goals
and objectives. With your continued
support we will achieve our aims
and objectives. We thank you on
behalf of the people whose lives
have been affected by tour generosity.
On
our part, ARISE ensures that all
the projects we started maintain
a high level of sustained continuance.
At our office in Ntungamo Town
Council, the employees keep daily
records of management and project
needs which are reviewed by the
board of directors (BOD) on a
constant basis. |
